Weather...

It's officially spring in The Netherlands but it's been snowing all day outside my window. Some offices and schools in the northern part of the country is closed due to heavy snow, it's something you don't see very often in this part of the world. It is said that we have the biggest snow fall in the last 50 years!

Summer 2003, was the second hottest summer of the century in Holland, and last year's summer was also amongst the top ten hottest summer of the century.

The ice in Arctic and Antarctic is continue melting...
the sea level is rising and some tiny islands in the Pacific is drowning...

Our climate is changing...
and yet some of the world leaders refuse to do anything... Not even to sign Kyoto Protocol!
Mind you, signing the protocol is only one step to begin a long journey that we need to make in order to fight climate changing. If we couldn't do it, what would happen with our climate in, say,50 years from now?
