The Chaos

It's a poem by Dutchman G. Nolst Trenité (1870-1946) contained around 800 'challenging' words.
This version has some mispronunciations in British English, that being said, I like the way she did it.

Never did hit upon the name before. How and where did you dig this up? Fun, really fun. And instructive. I should blame mr Breevoort, our English teacher, for never ever having mentioned mr Trenité.

Anyhow this taught me a lesson of modesty:

The poem is an attack on my English pronunciation self confidence :.

And a blow to my usually snobbish but now shaky display of factual knowledge on twentieth century literary Holland :).

Was reading about good English usage, one of the links was on pronunciation.

There are other video's on youtube in American, Canadian English, etc. It's reassuring to know that even native speakers have difficulty pronouncing certain words.
