Force Majeure
The European sky is lockdown due to the eruption of Icelandic Eyjaffjalljokull. It is thought that the stranded people might not be able to claim their travel insurance, as the insurance companies are using 'the Act of God' exclusion in their insurance policies to avoid paying $20 million of compensation.
If it is so, does that mean the (Icelandic) church is liable now?

(Two tiny problems here. The Church can't decide without the consent of the Lord - whose address is unknown. And Iceland is as poor as a church-rat after the country went factually bankrupt last year)

plus, catholic church is pretty loaded
eventho western media referred Dalai lama as God-King, I think it's false, as the Buddhist teaching is not dependent upon belief in gods. So we cant really hold him accountable. that leaves us the pope ;)
I almost pity the pope. All these nasty journalists asking about paedophile priests... It is going to be a very costly affair to compensate the victims..And now another attack on the treasurer...
But hey.. No sweat. The Vatican may well escape. Iceland is predominantly Lutheran. Pfff.
