Think BIG! Riches! Power! Pretend you could have ANYthing!

I LOVE Calvin and Hobbes. I used to buy one of their books after each of my exam period. This particular strip reminds me of a conversation I had in Amsterdam. This elderly lady asked me 'If you could be anything in the world, what would you be?' I answered, 'I want to be happy.' She and the rest of the people on the table called me naive.

It may be naive, because living on a lifelong permanent high is not for humans. Lows inevitably happen to each and everybody. But some occasional and/or temporary genuine happiness is actually the only thing that really matters in life.

i think as long as you make decisions that are basically true to yourself you'll be relatively happy...

Most of my life I tried to go left and people told me to go right. I think I could be happy when I ignore what people says, but then again, most of the time, the guilt kicks in after a while, then I am back at square one.
